Louise has just completed seven art talks for the Speaker Enrichment Series on board the Regent Seven Seas Mariner cruise ship which went down the Amazon River and through the Caribbean, from Miami back to Miami.

On stage, Louise regaled stories of Picasso, Mad Artists, Tricks of the Colour Wheel and an Is It Art? Guide to the Guggenheim, as well as picking Ten World Icons That Still Wow! and asking What Has The Amazon Done For Us?  

Her talks included relating architectural interests, artworks and artists, tribal customs and ceremonies to the incredible stopping places along the way…

“The Amazon was absolutely breathtaking” says Louise “And it inspired me to create a new series of collage work whilst on board as we drifted down the brown waters lined with millions upon millions of majestic green trees. As stunning as it was, we also saw the dark side, with trees burning to clear land and choking smoke reaching the ship. The relationship between man and nature continues…”
